Your first Stop Smoking session:

  • If this is the first time you’ve been to see a hypnotherapist, we spend some time talking about hypnotherapy and I answer any questions you might have.
  • We explore the reasons you wish to stop smoking, what you believe has been preventing you, and how hypnotherapy can help you to experience a successful outcome this time.  I use this information to create a session tailored to you and you alone. This takes account of your goals, your expectations and your particular needs.
  • I use a whole collection of different techniques to empower you to overcome your habit.  This might include a combination of powerful suggestions, mental imagery and other hypnotherapy and psychotherapy techniques to help you get rid of the habit of smoking for good.
  • We work on increasing motivation for quitting smoking, and boosting confidence that you will succeed.
  • We also deal with general anxiety, if that’s an issue for you; and it is for many people who are trying to stop smoking. Stress and anxiety is often the main reason given by smokers for failing to give up smoking.
By the end of this first hypnotherapy treatment you’ll most likely be a non-smoker! And best of all, you can benefit from this effective smoking cessation program completely without risk to your health.
